extending iq 600 121 to a 144

I have a 2009 polaris iq 600 121" with 160 miles on it (yes 160), last year I went on a Wyoming trip with my 09 switchback 136 and had a blast, but i would like to be able to bring one more person with me and I would prefer a 144 over a 136. I know where to buy the extensions and track, but a couple other questions.

1. does the suspension still act normal with an extension that long or does it start to act funny?

2. If i land hard on my back end will it do anyting to the extension or suspension?

3. will I need to change the clutching or the gearing?

Any reason not to use factory rails and suspension for a 155"?

That would be a bit more expensive, fairly hard to find, I do not want to go that long, and I don't want to mess with placing the new suspension in the correct place and have to drill new holes. The extensions are just much simpler. A new suspension is not in the question.
