Exit rear shock set up and adjustments

Well I bought a 2012 pro from a fella that had a good 100 pounds on me and I'm
Thinking his shock setup may be a bit different than what should be for myself
At 160 pounds I'm feeling like this "flickable" sled is more like toppling a cow than snowmobile. I'm coming from
A 12xp and found it turned easier. However I'm finding info on shock setup hard to find. He had stock walkers up front. They were cranked right down so brought them up to 9" spring length for a starting point. Adjusting collar about half way.I may be up my a$$ on that I dunno. But the rears have me baffled he has exit shocks with clickers back there x1-sr I believe I dunno where to begin does anyone have a chart for weight to spring length or any advice at all. On both front and back. I'm looking agility out of her.

Thanks

I would also loosen the fronts all the way without the possibility of them falling off the spring seat. Tighten from there if needed. I'm 180 and mine are as loose as they go. It leans over easier and i don't bottom out.

Well I had no luck with zbros hard to get ahold of
I did losses the fronts made a bit of a differnce. My xp still
Is easier to tip, and that just shouldn't be. So I'm gonna piss around with the track shocks. So in the experience of you pro riders how would set up
THE rear suspension? Tighten the Front loosen the rear? Loosen both off? Any info about this would be great!

Ill try to word this in a way that you hopefully don't take offense, but, how much experience with shocks do you actually have?

I say this because 1) your trying to compare sleds that are apples to oranges, on platforms that are not the same and 2) your adjusting shocks that regardless of how you load them, they are still internally valved for a guy 100# more than you.

I would highly recommend finding a local shock builder and revalving everything 25# over your body weight. WE shocks will respond well to a valve job and better springs. Also a shock builder familiar with Exits and the Pro chassis should be able to get the preload and dampening fairly close.

The owners manual will instruct you how to adjust the fronts. Rear preload is done in the same manner, preload is not the same as dampening and are 2 separate adjustments. I believe iirc stock rear WE listed rear preload of 5" of sag.

What's your ski width? Adjusted skinny or wide?

I'm on my 3rd season with Exits all around and they are badass, but get them adjusted right as with any shock.

Good luck.

No offense taken. Only made the assumption that the pro was easier to maneuver than the xp. What you pointed out makes sense I could probably piss with those shocks all day without the result I wanted. This is the info I was looking for thanks!
