Exhaust tip for MCX

Where can you get aluminum pipe that can be bent and welded on to an MCX can?

OR, a tip that is already done?

I need to put a 90 on the pipe but the only aluminum tube I can find tears when you try to bend it in to a 90.

Thanks in advance.

thistle doo has some pics of one

i'm having a guy weld one on for me after the 509 premier. I have a few more things do to my sled but i'll display it down there and finsh it after

I could weld something up, but it would look best to have a mandrel bent piece.

I will check with ThisteDoo. I have seen 2-3 different versions, just want to get some input on what works best.

I was thinking about this
If you cut the muffler near the end at a sight angle, then rotate it 180 degrees and weld it back together it would actualy angle the muffler itself with no tip

I cut mine 2" shorter. It would be tough to do it at an angle and not look chitty.

I may do some cutting and welding on the aluminum pipe I have to see if I can come up with something respectible.

I got a 2.25 inch 90 degree bend from a Automotive performance shop that supplies Vibrant performance stuff. Mopac auto supply in Edmonton alberta.

The end piece is aluminum on my kit. I have a turnout on mine and it IS aluminum on the end.

what about tunnel dumping the exhaust?pros cons?seems like would be easy deal!

Got a piece of mandrel bent thin wall aluminum pipe from a local muffler shop. He ordered it in for me....they use all these pipes in air kits for diesel trucks ect.....tigged it on and it worked great all season.

I have a tunnel dump pipe but it is to loud for my taste.

Walk softly and carry a big stick.

Thanks for the info thistle. I need to try a different muffler shop. Went to one and he didn't have any ideas for me.
