anyone try different deflecters to get rid of the horrible exhaust bog. also think it may be from being to rich at wot. will be interesting to see if the slp or dynoport pipe cure this. also put on the slp air intake kit. running in over the hood powder and noticed no gain at all over stock intake with the foams removed.

I was riding in over the hood pow for 4 day. Did'nt notice any bog at all. It dos'nt seem to matter if the air intake is covered with snow and ice. Seem to run good all the time. I did notice rmps were down some with ethanal fuel though.

Same thing- I had 3-4 foot of fresh for a week and there was never any bog. I also had my 05 RMK out for the same trip and it bogged like a mother. Even while I was stuck and buried the Pro it never bogged when the outlet was covered either.

bog

the exhaust bog only occurs when sidhilling on the right side for a distance. no bog going straight or short right hand cuts.

If its only after a long time on the side it kind of sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Does it do it with full tank or only with lower levels og fuel in it?

Same issue for me. when I lay it over or side hill on the right side. I don't think it has anything to do with the fuel. Same issue with top filled tank.

It bog down to about 6500rpm til I let of the trottle, then it comes right back.

My buddy has no problems what so ever.

It seams weird that the snow deflector is the problem. If it was, all the new rmks should have this problem.

bog

had a couple of good rides in with no exhaust bog now. then sled started cutting out at wfo and when just taking off. just went through the sled and dielectric all conections. noticed a lot of water on the pile of connectors by the clutch cover. will also try tss.

Did you do anything to get rid of the exhaust bog or did it disappeard by it self? I'm getting more and more frustrated and neither my dealer or polaris have been able to figure out what's cause this "right side" bog
