Evolution Rubber Mounts

I wanted to let everyone know how nice the 1100 rear rubber motor mounts are. I installed them on my personal 1100 turbo last evening. The fit of the rubber Mounts are perfect into the brackets. Once installed and everything was buttoned back up you can easily feel how much stiffer the mounts are. Before installation I could move the engine likely 1/2" up and down just by grabbing the clutch and applying a small amount of force, afterwards the you can maybe move it 1/8" by applying alot of force. I feel as though these are a must have on all 1100 turbos to keep the engine alignment to the jackshaft without noticing any odd vibrations over the stock rubber mounts. This is more like how the yamaha engines feel.

Also if anyone needs these please feel free to contact Evolved Customs or one of the other Evolution Powersports installation centers we would be glad to help you out as well as you can order them directly from Evolution if you plan to do the installation yourself.

How challenging was the install? Did you have to use the adjustable mount to change clutch alignment at all?

I did not need the adjustable mount for mine.

The installation is definately more involved than I thought it was going to be. Just alot of work to do. If your not comfortable with taking the chaincase apart, pulling the muffler, removing the seat, removing belt guard and tank as well as removing the jackshaft I would take it to a Evolution Installation dealer if there is one in reasonable distance. The parts are bolt on. Just a matter of getting to them there is alot of things in the way. Also I found the bolts that hold the Engine mount brackets to the block and head to be extremely tight. I thought the first one I was taking out was stripped as hard as it was coming out. Thankfully it was not.
