Evo Good OR Bad

I have heard lots of good things about EVO parts and turbos but I just want to get an opinion from some other people out there before I spend a hole bunch of money. A few questions I have to ask is are the parts reliable and do the dealers stand behind there products? What kinda miles are people getting out of there sleds after they do turbo work to them? Is there any kinda parts warranty if a turbo blows right away? Has any one had problems with exhaust coming apart on them? If any one has some knowledge to my questions or things to add that would be great.

Mr. Pilsner

Evolution Products are great. They are reliable. They don't fail when installed correctly. Mod sleds break down. If you want warranty stay stock. We have installed many many kits and no exhausts have come apart. I have talked to guys that did not use loctite on the bolts that hold headers on or turbo to header that have had them come loose, not Evolutions problem.

Excellent product

EVO builds great products. Like any product, if it is installed incorrectly or if you deviate from fueling recommendations, etc, you will likely have issues. I've installed all of my EVO products without issue, but I am a journeyman mechanic with a wide selection of tools at my disposal. If wrenching isn't your thing, have a QUALIFIED technician do your install, or leave it stock.

High quality stuff!

Evo's after market parts are a huge improvement. I have a 12 M1100T and now a 14 M9000 and I have got Evo's stuff on both of them. I don't go full mod or even do the 215 hp reflash. But the charge tubes, BRValve, intake elbow and the cold air intake is where I start because they are way better than stock. Give Eric at Racin Station a call and he'll have the parts in the mail before you hang up. Evo has great service also.

Have been running EVO's equipment for over a year now and discussed alot with peeps riding the M1100T that were on the fence the applicatons and how far they wanted to go.

Their products ( EVO's) are well thought out and very much ran and tested to the limits to give consumers the comfort feeliing. Nothing released without a complete testing. The fit and finish are also a area where detail has not been compromised.

Alot of easy bolt on applications- but as stated above there are some complex applications--- Whatever you decide their product are stood behind, tested, and customer service is second to none.

Evo has become one of the only suppliers I trust , other than a Team secondary, all of of my non stock parts are from Evo , Quality parts at a decent price and great guys to deal with

I started out with just buying a BRV intake boot and the 215 tune from Evolution. Then I upgraded before even riding to the Big Chute Kit. The product is very nice IMO. The Service is even better.

If you are on the fence there is no need to be. If you need help getting it installed perfect there are shops that can help you with that. In my opinion be careful of many powersports dealerships that do not have experience with the Evolution product. Not saying all because some have great mechanics but sadly many just have a guy that knows how to turn wrenches but for the price they pay them the attention to detail is likely not there.

The EVO parts are significantly better than the Cat parts your are replacing or upgrading. There are driveline issues with the 1100T that were not even on EVOs radar when they started designing and building their turbo kits. When they popped up EVO has taken them on too. If EVO had just ignored all the other issues with the Cat driveline I would be stuck with a 300HP engine that was useless. They have really stayed on top of things and with the TCL delete stuff and new belt they had Gates make I am pretty confident about this season.

Well if you are thinking about ordering parts u should have been doing it in May cause I am still waiting on a muffler since OCT.

We have good supply of all parts 95% of the time, especially since the start of November. What really messes with the inventory levels for me is guys that say they are taking parts and then don't. Personally I don't like taking money for backordered parts but I guess that is the only true way to ensure commitment.

TCL kits are new this year so they were challenging but there is good stock now. No one could have predicted the popularity of the exhausts, 1100 and the new 800. I had stock of those in October. Pipes that people had spoken for and didn't end up taking got sent to the next person wanting them on my list, just like any other part.

Feel free to pm or email me Mr. Pilsner. I'm sure we can get you looked after and answer any other questions you have about the Evo product.

Sounds like some one has some hurt feelings lol. I have been in business for a while now and the only way to stop that from happening is a deposits and a small one not a big one and don't ask for the customer to pay in full be for he has his parts in his hands.

No hurt feelings here. I don't ask for deposits many times, there is no shortage of demand for Evo parts. My concern is holding parts that have been commited to and not being able to give them to the next customer asking for them. Never a concern selling Evo parts, that's the easy part lol. When some one doesn't take parts the next Evo customer thanks them.

X2 Gene Nothing bugs me more than that when you hold parts for one guy and don't answer his calls when his parts are in stock and then you find out that he purchased from another dealer when other guys could have those parts.
