The BRV will improve throttle response by relieving pressure when the throttle is closed during a time when the turbo is building boost. The BRV reacts very quickly allowing the boost pressure to be relieved before it slows (lag)the compressor wheel. The stock BRV does not function like this.

The cold air intake will improve both throttle response and over all power. The factory air filter disrupts the air flow while the cold air intake smooths the flow to increase the volume of air available for the turbo to take in. These are even more important on machines with a turbo upgrade.

The things you have done to your sled will makes a difference in performance. That for me was one of the more exciting things about the M1100T project. Every little thing we did made a noticeable difference in performance, which was a far cry from all the two stroke stuff I have done over the years. It was a win some lose some deal back then. Enjoy!

The stock brv is not able to dump boost because it does not have a vac ref. as well as being poor quality for quick operation because it was not designed to be used as a fast reacting brv.

The stock sled can be made better with some care taken to improve flow in and out of the engine. The stock intake is restrictive because they have the need to make it quiet and the exhaust the same. I would like to think that if the EPA would get out of cats way they would build a better sled. Though I still think that cat left a lot on the table.

The brv from evo is a great investment in making your 1100t more rideable!

Hi, I have just installed the EVO Brv.

When I started the snowmobile now on idle speed, it blows out on the lowest barb on the brv solenoid. When I touch the throttle, it stops. Is this correct?

I have routed it like Evo says it should be. Mine was routed wrong from factory. XF1100T 2012mod.
