Is it necessary to drain and remove the gas tank to install the EVO BRV? I am gonna install this weekend and would prefer to avoid it if possible. It's going on a 2014 proclimb m9000.

No, not necessary at all. Just pull the seat, remove the battery cables and remove the right and left spars that cover the tank and you can slide the tank back slightly to expose everything you will need to access.
