Ya know, I've been hesitant to post this, but its mainly because I don't quite have it all figured out myself at the moment.

I guess you could say I met her two August's ago. We started dating the September after that. All the guys that were around me a lot through work prior to September have told me tons of times that everytime they see me anymore I am a much... happier... person. I know that I was a very angry person prior to that, but I didn't realize how much until people started pointing out the difference. My life has been up and down (mostly down) the last 8 months, but she is still here with me. It makes a person wonder sometimes how they can get so lucky to find one such as that.

Now... so long as she doesn't read this and get a swelled head

WHATS THE STORY?

Yep!!!!! My wife of 30 years. If I had not met her I could very easily been a drunk and broke my whole life. She stuck with me for 5 kinda tough years before I decided I needed to grow up and be a man and stop playing with my so called friends. Quit drinkin and partying so called friends went the other way as I was " no fun anymore " And I am better for it!!!!!!!

its a tough deal and not a minute goes by that i dont think about the situation..

sure would be nice if there was someone that could tell me the right thing to do..

don't know the right thing to do Jeese, but right now I'd say go sit in garage at that nice new bar, drink a beer and be glad your not in MN putting up with Basketball Tournament weather!!! 40 some degrees yesterday and great, today 30s and wet heavy sloppy snow!

I agree...The saying is "the grass is always greener on the other side", but it probalby should be "the grass always looks greener..."

i believe i have finally found my man. we were friends for years & unfortunatly i was caught up in a bad relationship with a bad person for 6 years before i realized it. cory was just a friend but finally told me what someone needed to tell me for years. we have been friends for 5 years & together for 1 - the best year of my life! i think phatty is right, sometimes you are with someone just waiting & sierra is right, sometimes the grass LOOKS greener. you have to figure it out yourself, no one can just tell you want to do.

My ONE and only wife of 16 years changed mine. I was into fast cars, long legs in mini skirts and plenty of Alcohol/Cocaine. You might say I was pretty wild, until my Brown haired, blue eyed beauty came into my life. I honstly don't know how she put up with me the first couple years, but once I realized she was the one, my life changed for the best. When you hear the saying there's a good woman, behind every good man, I believe that statement to be true. It's because of her, that I've enjoyed the success I've had over the last 16 years and the biggest reason I got my act together by my mid twenty's. Her and my two daughters are the love and joy of my life and all my material toys or anything else don't mean sh!t to me compared to them. I would literally let my self get eaten alive by a Grizzly, if it meant sparing anyone of them, any kind of hardship. Guess my point is, always cherrish your loved one's and certainly don't take them for granted. Life is very short and you never know when last last kiss or hug is going to be from them. Hope this answered your question.........
