Ethanol Fuel again

One of the few places still selling non Ethanol fuel is Costco. I talked to them about the future & was told that Corporate is considering a switch since the 10% alcohol is cheaper, govt subsidy. All the majors have switched to Ethanol. AAA has a list of other SW Idaho stations but I'm not sure it's up to date.
If you are a member or know a member fill out the "We want to know" form found inside the front door on the right. Then put it in the suggestion box. Put the key words "Non Ethanol is a better value". Just tell Costco that you want them to continue selling non ethanol fuel. This will alert management that we are aware of the value of no ethanol and are willing to pay a little more for it. If you don't know the negatives of Ethanol fuel in a snowmobile get educated before it's too late.

I called and talked to Dave at Triple AAA. He said that North Idaho gas comes from Washington. Since Washington is ethanol mandated state, all gas that comes from there is 10% ethanol. He didn't have any locations in North Idaho where non-ethanol gas was sold. If someone has a location where there is non-ethanol gas in North Idaho (CDA) please post it up here. I'd pay extra to not run that crap in my sled.

Costco (Coer d' alene) had good fuel when I was there in late August.

I wish I could remember the station, but I think it is on 4th and Appleway in CDA, there was a huge banner claiming 100 gasoline-no ethanol. I haven't been paying attention lately though...A confirmation on that would be great.

A and D in CDA

Graveyarder and I were both speaking of the same station in CDA. I drove by the station this morning and the 100% gasoline banner is still hanging on the roof over the pumps, BUT the A board sign on the sidewalk says may contain up to 10% ethanol.

I filled up today at A & D in CDA and they do sell non ethanol fuel. It will cost you 10 cents additional per gallon plus an additional 5 cents per gallon if you use debit or credit for a total 15 cents per gallon surcharge. Oh yeah and they sell 87 octane only-no premium.
