Epic sled trips for next season

So, I have already started to save money for next winter. I am also starting to plan some trips and find people to ride with in the places that I travel to.

Where should I go?
Keep in mind that I live in Bend, OR and can't spend more than a day driving. I ride a 2010 M8, and have been riding for a long time. I perfer to ride in the trees and boondock.

Post up some ideas of where to go! Maybe a picture or two aswell. Thanks

Mc Call, Idaho was a good time and has an awsome mix of big open bowls and some super fun tree riding. We spend most of our time in the trees were I ride so the mixed terrain was awsome. It's a solid day worth of driving ( maybe less for you ) and you can get lodgeing at a fair rate. We made that trip this year and I think we will do it again next season.

Not tight trees ( at least not were we rode ) but Baker is a ton of fun and is within a day's drive , 5-6 hours from portland. It was almost all open, above the tree line riding but is not just a bunch of huge climbs... there are some, but there is a very diverse terrain up there and anyone can find something to make them happy.

I would also recommend McCall as well as the Coeur d'Alene area. If you like to boondock I would highly recommend Trestle Creek out of Sandpoint. Before you travel anywhere I would get ahold of the locals on this site and BCR and setup a ride with them thats how you will get to the good riding.

take all that hard-saved money and give it to snowmobiler and ask him to take you riding around Bachelor.

It'll be a win-win, I promise...and you'll see a side of riding local you never knew existed.

I have been to McCall. That place is awesome. Going there for sure this year. But I would also like to see some new places. These forums will for sure be a big help when looking for people to ride with.

I've never met that guy, but since I ride an Arctic Cat, I don't think I could keep up!
