engine tech billet 900 with turbo?

I had that motor and wanted to try that combo but having to add fuel pumps and on the 700 motor the lack of electrical power stoped me!!

I have a OVS turbo turbo kit that I'm going to try on my m-7 BMP 900BB, but I need a new turbo.

It was a areo 53 and I have people telling me that a 53 is to small for my 900?

I would like to run a low amount of reliable boost like 8lbs, I would really like to hear some comments please.

Thanks in advance

A 53 is small for a 900, but I think you could get away with 6 pounds of boost for a pump gas setup with a 53. I played around with one on an 800 without issue.

As far as the M7. If you ran an EGT, a BD Box, your ECU and regulator, you could easily run a larger Aero with a secondary fuel pump. Just keep the little $100 pumps on hand. Because you will need a new one about every 300-500 miles due to the voltage fluctuations. There are other options on the pump. I just dont suggest them and they are too much $ for what they do for you.

when I ran that set up I ran an aem 02 and a second fuel pump and a PL controller and smoked my stator

Anything is possible, I'm sure you would just need to start with a fresh cylinder....the porting that makes power on a N/A sled is not what you want for a boost application. :beer;

Because of too much draw on the electrical system?

realistically what could or should I expect out of 6lbs of boost?

Well, we have built a few of those M7T around here, and two M8T ,no one has smoked a stator on our wiring setup. We did have one M7 who smoked a stator stock after a while. He had a constant short on a wire that had no fuse on it.

The 6 pounds of boost on pump gas with an aero on an M7 and a M8, stock injectors only, seemed to me like a really responsive M1000 with a some pipe, intake, and clutching mods on it. Just didnt have as much weight. The M8 had a little more grunt and response on the bottom end. I would think a BD box would be the only way to go because you can make your own mapping.
