on my 06 rmk after it starts, the engine light just keeps blinking at a normal pace. wat code is that?? lol also sputter, backfires and when u let off the throttle the rpms will fall to 800-900 then pick back up to 1400 ish and idle nice. since i havent had it out yet, it still has old gas yes.

Code 1 is a fault in the Throttle Position Sensor, and your symptoms match a possible TPS problem.
Start by replacing with fresh fuel for good measure and check the running again, if it still throws a code and idles poorly, then you should try the reset procedure for the TPS system (also in the stickies at the top).

Wat makes it go outta adjustment?
damn near anything...
either the sensor is way out of adjustment, the TPS wiring harness is broken, or the TPS itself is bad...
not much to diagnose here luckliy...start with settings it, check the wiring (with an ohm meter) sweep sensor with analog meter, replace sensor if needed!!
