Enclosed trailer / portable heat ???

If you are burning propane and you are not venting the exhaust outside of the trailer, you are bringing MORE moisture into the trailer. When propane burns you get C02 and Water

There are many heaters you can use aluminum trailer but Mr heater provides good heater also it depends on your budget too. I recommend and check out the list of heaters also I researched about too much on that and I got the best list of the heater, I m sharing link you may go and check it.

These two links help you a lot I hope i solved your some problem if not then sorry.

Thanks

Mr. Heater is good but does vent moisture into the trailer which will then freeze unless the trailer is vented.

Anything that burns propane, and is not vented to the outside WILL put moisture inside the trailer. In the past (before i installed the diesel heater) i would have water drops on the ceiling that would drip down. Since I started using the diesel heater, no issue at all!

CAn you please explain the diesel heater? Brands and how it heats up the trailer? I have typically seen propane.
Presently using procomm infra red 30k btu for not staying in trailer and suburban forced air 30k BTu staying in trailer.

I am not as good at explaining these heaters as the guru himself :)
Check out this link to his series of videos on these heaters. It is VERY informative!! I think there are 16 of the videos in the series, but this one (link below) is the overview.

I looked at this diesel heater in your trailer. They make a 2Kw , 5Kw and an 8K version. Holds 5 litres of diesel. Very simple setup. And at about 100 bucks ... such a deal for around 20000 BTU !!!

Does anyone complain about the diesel smell .... you know tree huggers?
How muck diesel does it use per hour on max setting? Does it draw much amps?

I think the 2Kw would be too small for a trailer in the winter. 5Kw is ok, but the 8Kw would be better. Or if you have a very large trailer, even 2 of the 5Kw version would be good.

No, there is not a smell at all. In one of the videos in the series, he goes over how little emissions these heaters put out.

The fuel consumption is also covered in one of the videos, as is repair and maintenance. VERY informative series!!

These are a chinese knock off of the Espar or Eberspaecher heaters, which are $1000 or more.

This is great let's keep it going! Just picked up my first enclosed. Looking for more ideas and tips. What have any of you done to connect a flex duct to the furnace and pvc on the other side? Any special fittings needed?

Also interested in seeing more installs and setup for these diesel heaters!!

I have a few questions that come to mind.......

Is everyone using the supplied tank or installing a bigger tank?

How are they for filling the tank? I wouldn't want it to be messy, especially when you are messing around with diesel fuel.

Any body running two heaters or is one 8KW enough for a typical trailer?

How long does it typically take to "warm up" a completely cold trailer?

When your're out riding, do you just leave it run or shut it down?

Any more pictures of installs???

Mines the all in 1 style 8 kw.
I use a electric pump to fill mine up.
Leave it on all the time and refill it once or twice usually morning and night all depends on how cold it is. The trailer I have the heater installed in is a 8.5x24 steel car hauler with insulated walls and ceiling. It takes a couple hours to heat it up comfortably but that also depends on the outdoor temperature.
