Enclosed Trailer and Superglides

I have spent the afternoon looking for the answer and learning about way too many trailer upgrades...

If I install Superglides in my enclosed trailer, will I have to tie down the sleds during transport? I am a park and go guy. It seems logical that if the sled slides while loading it will slide around during transport.

YES!
I have glides and the sled WILL GO FORWARD when you hit the brakes.
I secure all my sleds.

i have my enclosed rhino coated and glides...had it for 12 years, the floor looks the same as when i did it...i do have to tie down, but i would anyway...if you have any kind of wreck, the tie downs will save a lot of damage to sleds, including shutting down your riding while they are fixed....but, if you don't want to tie down, i would just get some sheets of ply-wood, screw them to the floor, and when they start looking raggy, replace them for cheap...:face-icon-small-blu

I have often considered this, but always wonder if it could be doing more harm by trapping moisture & not allowing the original floor to breath & dry totally?

I have grip glides the whole way down my trailer. I have tie downs where they are I don't know. Probably got turned into some pop cans. I don't have a parking break on my sled either. I just drive in, shut it off, close the door, and leave. Yes if I get in a jamb I might destroy more.

Granted I am coming off a three day bender in Las Vegas, but I have no clue what you just said.

On past trailers, I painted the floor and added sand to the paint for traction. Glides are too big of a pain, so I've used SLP ski slips to let the sled come up ramp with less resistance and protects floor. Buy a set of ski slips for each sled and leave on during transport. Sled doesnt slide too easily, but I at least put a strap on the rear bumper for sudden stops. When unloaded, there are no slick glides on the floor, to cause a fall.
