Just wondering if this light weight battery you have is one of these new Lithium Ione type batteries? I am installing my old 08 starter on my 2012 E tec and am wondering how they preform. The battery I have now is a small standard battery and does not have enough cranking amps I guess for the high compretion E tec engine. Thinking of getting new light weight one, only weighs 1.2 pounds! If this is what you have what do you think?....
I am using the Shorai light weight battery. Same size as stock, about 10 lbs lighter, 2.5 lbs. Works great on multiple different sleds, as good or better than the stock lead battery.
