Will the electric start kit out of a 2010 Dragon 800 work in a new Pro Rmk 800? I am selling my 2010 dragon and getting a Pro Rmk and if the kit is the same I would like to remove the brackets and everything and install it in the Pro if it will work?

Asked my dealer the same thing when I was thinking about getting a Pro for this season, they said it would fit and that they had already done this swap on a sled.

So yes, if I havent gotten everything wrong it should fit.

Just installed one on my Pro and the mounts for the starter and the battery
are different than the one I had on my 09 Dragon and the battery is a little smaller on the Pro.

I did find a specific kit for the 2011 Pros and they do have a different part number. The kit for the 2010s is 2877257 and for the 2011 Pro is 2878250. However if the only difference is a couple brackets and battery box I still might remove it and just get the brackets. I haven't decided on it yet along with if I want to get an '11 or SnoCheck a '12 Pro.
