Electric cars are as much a scam as Global Warming

No scrubbers that soak up carbon dioxide, that I've ever heard of. Except the bio alga fuel project.

I went on a sales call a month ago to a Seattle based company with about the dumbest business model I've ever heard. They are making special pumps that will capture CO2 emmissions from manufacturing plants etc and they'll store the compressed gas in tanks that are buried in the ground instead of releasing it into the atmosphere.

It took me everything I had from busting out laughing. Every one there should start looking for a new job!

Uhhhh, you'd create more carbon dioxide manufacturing the containment vessel, and compressing the gas, than you could ever put in it. Surely, your joking. The only thing you can do with CO2, is feed it too some lifeforms, that will use photosynthesis to recapture the carbon, in their basic structure. Or, I guess you could pump it under the ocean, and let it dissolve in it.

Heard another good one, the idiots wanted to cut down trees and bury them. Someone forgot to tell them that carbon based life forms, decaying in a low oxygen environment, produce methane, rather than CO2. CH4 is about 12 times better as a greenhouse gas. And eventually, it'd escape.

Gotta burn those carbon credit dollars somehow. Might as well do more damage than good.
