EGT Probe Vipec

Hey Guys,

I posted this in the Pro-Ride but seeing as the sled is running a HM Turbo and Vipec ECU I am wondering if someone can chime in.

My EGT probe failed and I am currently obviously in a bind to get one this time of the year before my next trip. I am just wondering if the vipec uses egt for making fueling or timing changes? If I can get away without running it with no ill effects for the time being that would be great.

Depends on how the map you are running is set up , but I would say NO , if it is a HM turbo kit setup , call them .!

Yes I was planning on it tomorrow, they got back to me just now and currently it is not being used, but with the update they plan on employing it. Thanks!
