What a wuss!
I have been trying to find a rattler ever since I got to MT, havent seen one yet! Maybe that is a good thing?

I've brought home a few in my lunch box and put them in a fish tank with a fitted lid. Was fun to put rats in there and watch them get bit, they'd buzz when you walked by. The rest of my family would freak out so I had to get rid of them after a couple days.

Skin that sucker cut it up and make a G-string and bikini top and have one of your models advertise it it on E-bay. Might get some coin for that, might get you laid and you could also post the tastefull pics in the warming hut. Win win for everyone..........

I used to be scared $hitless of snakes. The neighbor kid had 2 corn snakes as pets and one day he convinced me to hold one. Within 10 minutes I had the thing crawling in and out of my shirt. They are pretty cool snakes. We've got rattlers around here too and those fricken things are scary! It was just in the news the other day that a fellow killed a 9 ft. rattler about 80 miles from where we are. That's too dam close for my liking!

Wow! that was a beautiful corn snake!! My daughter had 2 of those as pets. They sell for over 100 bucks that size! The next time you get one of those you might thing twice about killing it and maybe think about listing it on craigslist or someplace like that. I bet that was someone's pet that they let get because it got to big for them or they just didn't want it anymore.

Too bad you killed it. Those are the good kind of snakes, but I can understand if you don't like snakes. I didn't used too until my daughter wanted one as a pet when she was 8 - we had 3 of them total - the first got loose in the house ( the size of #2 pencil and we never did find it).

The only snakes that Alaska has are the ones you buy from the pet stores - we don't have any snakes native to Alaska - they can't survive the winters here.

That is one big snake, I got a timber rattler in western NY once that was 6.5 feet but nothing like that. Now the bleeding hearts made it illegal to kill one in NY.
