Edge suspension, seat, and tank on a wedge?

I have a '94 SKS that I am thinking about modding. I have an almost complete '02 Edge X chassis for parts. I'm thinking Edge seat and tank, edge rear skid with extentions to make the 136" and edge front IFS with no sway bar. Anyone know if this can all bolt in or be done with minimal fabrication?

The seat and tank are a good idea because it moves your body to a better center of gravity. The edge rear skid is a bad move. Unless you do the front too. It will change the geometry of the sled and make your front end dig and dart like hell if you only do the rear. Save yourself the time and hassle unless your doing the front and rear like I said.

2000 Indy XC

I put an Edge rear skid under my 2000 Indy XC and put some used Edge shocks on the front. They were exactly the same length and picked the front end up nicely.

Broke a tie rod end trying to adjust the skis to have a slight toe out.

Do you think I will still have a darty sled?

The edge trailing arms, radius rods, steering rods and shocks wont work on a wedge chassis sled without MAJOR modifications to the bulhead and shock towers.

You can however run an edge rear skid. Then just run longer spindles up front. The newer trailing arm spindles are a bit taller and work better from this modification and bring the front end up.

DO NOT run gen 2 or edge shocks in your wedge. They are longer and the shock travel is completely different. Yes they raise the front end up but they make the steering bind and will bottom out way to easy and make the sled handle TERRIBLE.
