Sonora was SICK!!!!! been there a few times but it still amazes me. Sonora is so bad ***. huge climbs, couple areas had wind crusty snow but every where else was pretty nice and soft. did 60 miles. is the west slope of sonora pass anything like the east?

west side is a groomed trail for like 30 mi from parking and boring, until you get to top of pass.levitt lake is by far the best riding around there [if u like big mnts] Usually use a full tank if not more coming from west side

What is the parking like on the east side? How early should one arrive to get a spot?
Is there still good riding left? Thinking about heading to sonora pass this week. Any recent picks would be great.

went Saturday, road is plowed to the top from the east side, probably be up from the west this weekend so Im guessing they will open the pass.

nope when the road opens no more sledding
not true... Ive gone sledding for the pass 6 years when the pass opens up with no probs... snows not that great if you dont get up there as soon as it opens.. gets sun cupped...
it realy depends on the leavitt road as soon as dirt shows no more sledding...just ask the bridgeport rangers...... shred on
