10% density is pretty light snow... sierra/washington/canada snow is typically 14-18%
were just spoiled here with our perfect 8-10% snow... some of the storms in neveda/new mexico highlands will hit 6%... which is too light IMO...
and i was afraid there would be that crusty layer underneath all the new snow![]()
There will be a crusty layer, but hopefully it's 2-3 feet down and you never feel it!
