Forecasting another 6-18” for the Wasatch mountains today/tonight…
density for yesterday storms 10-12%, density from todays snow should be 8-9%
Avy danger is considerable with new snow storm slabs being the biggest issue.

It sure seemed lighter than that last night at Guardsman. It also wasn't bonding with the old surface very well at all, I had it completely give out on me several times while making downhill turns on slopes.

it's a toss-up mill hollow area or stay close to home and hit farmington tomorrow???? decisions, decisions.... i even volunteered for work tomorrow and sat. but looks like that's a no go. over 24" fresh close to home is hard to beat...Lets RIDE!

10% density is pretty light snow... sierra/washington/canada snow is typically 14-18%

were just spoiled here with our perfect 8-10% snow... some of the storms in neveda/new mexico highlands will hit 6%... which is too light IMO...

and i was afraid there would be that crusty layer underneath all the new snow :(
