Earth to the Packers.....

yer f'n idiots.

In fact, to Ted Thompson.......any decision you're thinking of making, make the complete opposite, and that'll be the correct one.

I call B.S. on Brett.

I live in Packer central 2 hours from the field and the locals are sick of him. Yeah, the crazed fans who have no life sit in front of the TV stations and chant "Brett, Brett". This guy.... who had hero status, turned into ZERO status with us. The media is showing Packer fans against the Packers. It's total B.S.

What matters will be January 2009. Sorry, were blue collar up here. If we worked our azzes off for 35 years and retired, can we cry months later and push our way back in? Bretts a ZERO. (formally #4).

My perspective on the #4 Packer forever legacy. B.S.

AGREED! Been a Packer/Favre fan my whole life, almost a perfect season to end on last year (minus the ring) and he goes out in great fashion, tears and all. END IT THERE!!! But no, he has to come back and grab the media by the ballz and have everyone focus on him.

I love ya Brett but RETIRE and STAY RETIRED!!!

I want to watch Rodgers succeed...

#4 (now zero) has totally distracted our team. He has zero class and put his crybaby self in front of fans that would have followed him into the depths of hell. Green Bay loves and adores their team to death. Brett HELPED them reach a superbowl that the fans deserved. Guy's, This was a team, not one man. Please don't forget the men that were on the TEAM.
God bless Reggie White.........

These superstars that the media makes should make us all get back into reality. Overpaid crybabies.......

Good call Deadsled. Been a Packers fan for a long time. Brett brought this upon himself. He's an awesome football player but only human. I think Rodgers will do well for the Pac. Might not have the long ball like Brett, but his passing accuracy w/in 15 yards is exceptional. To want to quit just because they didn't land Moss showed me that he was sort of a crybaby about the whole thing! I heard on Sirius NFL radio today that they were having problems 2 years ago with him not wanting to put the extra time in for studying film, etc. Than last year he did and look how their season turned around. A fresh start for the Pac I think is good. Just my .02:cool:

you really need to see rodgers play in person, he aint that good... pack finishes 8-8 at best without #4

Sorry cheese heads never been a big fan. I was a fan of #4...until now. No class, do what ya say. Im in Im out. Reminds me of a #23 in Chicago. It definitely takes the luster off a otherwise stellar career.

I am no football fan, never watched an NFL game in my life, but this situation did catch my attention, and I gotta say for an outsider looking in, the guy seems to be completely self involved, and only cares about him self, I can't imagine what kind of division within the team this created, not to mention having a kid finally able to get his big shot on the field, only for it to be corrupted by someone who seems to me should have stayed retired. I would think that would add some pressure to him.

^^^^ I guess that your a Packer fan. Huh

Packer fan or not. It takes Brett Favre's creditability right down the tube. I mean come on. You made the decesion to retire, now simply retire and live the good life. Football will go on with or without you Brett, you aren't the fabric of football even though you think you are.

Have only seen him play a handful of times and from what I saw he did fine.

Maybe the Pack will play better with Rodgers. You know the feeling when you put in the second string QB or in hockey the second string goalie, you play better because you know he can't carry you. I'm hoping this is the same thing!!:beer;

There is nothing worse than a "superstar" athlete that keeps coming back from retirement. TO all you "superstars" out there, one retirement that was done right except a little too soon was Wayne Gretzky's. Gave everyone a little notice of the impending retirement, teared up and waved goodbye. Came back as a coach a little later and is still seen hanging around the rink. Retirement = stop working.

Been a Farve fan since I can remember, will continue to be one. I wish he would have stayed retired. I believe stastically he is the most accomplished QB in the history of the game. This mess tarnishes his legacy a little for me.

The problem is that if the Packers don't make the playoffs this year the blame will be placed on the Packers front office and coaching staff for pushing Brett out for a younger QB.

I feel for Rogers here because if he doesn't lead the pack to the playoffs he will be labled as a looser. For Rogers to get any kind of respect he will to have a break out year much like Tom Brady did when the Pats sat Bledsoe for Brady.
