Can someone explain how shutting off lights in Seattle for an hour tomorrow will make a difference in saving the earth??? What are they going to do, stop the water from going over the dams and shut off the turbines. The fricken power is going to be there whether they use it or not. What a pile of bullcrap. I may be wrong, it's happened before.

Sounds like a good time to pick up that new big screen I've been wanting?
I'm going to shut my lights off for 8 to 10 hrs later,will that help?
All the guys who work at the utilities making commisions selling the excess power are going to love all the people who leave their lights off, because the power is already created therefor by shutting off your lights you create excess for them to sell, oh and right before summer too when prices go up.
Those kind of people are already in the dark.

soooooooo, who wants to help build the reservoirs for nuke plants to pump water into at night when they aren't utilized? Then during the day, free power!
Well it must be working, we got a couple inches of snow and still coming. Got to go turn up the fireplace and furnace.
