i shoot on a Panasonic HVX-200HD. i shot this stuff at 720PN at 60FPS for the clean slo-mo.

i edit on Final Cut Pro HD on a mac. i'll probably start hosting this stuff on our own server once i get some time to upgrade the web stuff. with a 4 year old girl, a 2 year old son, a wife that's as mean as a snake and 2 full-time jobs (plus making a sled video each year) i don't have a lot of time to sink into the website like i should. i paid someone to do it last year and i couldn't get the dang thing updated when i wanted and or manage it myself.

if the snow keeps coming...and everyone can stay safe...we're hoping for a good movie this year and are really focusing on some killer camera work. i've got 5 other really good shooters this year so our film should have some solid coverage.

all you gotta do is a little dud-a-dub-dub buddy.
dang...you busted me. i'm actually shooting on a RED with 4K files. j/k. i'm actually getting a really cool letus 35mm lens adapter for the camera so i can shoot with nikkor prime lenses. its just more stuff to carry in the backpack is the only problem. it has adapters and rods with it but i can blow a 300mm or a 24 wide on and the DOF is killer.

Yes, I have a Roland DAT and Sennhieser ME66/K6 but try and dig that baby out of the bag every time... not. RED would be nice, but ya better have a strong back to lug that baby. I looked into the Letus extreme, but I think i'm going to go with the EOS 5D Mk2 idea for the shallow DOF shots. By the way, nice dolly shots, I love that chit. Now we need to collaberate on the Cineflex idea and maybe invest in some cablecam and helicam equip. Ooooh the juices are flowin now buuudy.

roger that. i'm working a serious angle on the cineflex-heli deal right now. we can't let the snowboard film guys have all the cool shots. i'll have to shoot with it in tahoe though. we have a revy run on our schedule this year (spring stuff)...we will definitely hook up bud.

btw...to all you sledheads. do yourself a GIANT favor and order the snowboard film "That's It, That's All". IMO, the best snow-sports movie ever made. stunning heli shots with the cineflex camera.
