E start removal on Alpha

Hello,

I have a buddy that picked up a 2021 alpha, came with e start. He also has a 2019 high country, and he wants to pull the e start from the alpha and put it on the high country for his wife. I’ve been looking around online for some info, haven’t found much really. Is this possible to do? Any info/insight on this.

It shouldn't be an issue. It's more involved than a person thinks but I'll let someone who has done it comment.

im not as familiar with the 19+ but as long as the high country has the long e start seat/tank shouldnt be an issue. worst case if it didnt just swap them with the alpha. on the 19+ is the key still what runs the starter or did they go push button start with the new controls? might be some wiring that needs to be swapped around but i dont see why it wouldnt work, especially having both machines in front of you
