Dynoport pipe pics, and review

Got the dynoport Y pipe, pipe, and can on tonight. I should have brought a scale from my house but I think the whole setup is somewhere in the 11-13 pounds lighter area, give or take a pound.

The fit is the same as the OEM pipe. Uses the stock rubber bumpers, all stock springs.

I am going to run it tomorrow for a better impression, but from ripping around my shop it's obvious the sled is making quite a bit more power. Very snappy throttle response, with a very quick rev from 7500-8300. I hit the rev limiter quick, I'll be adding a gram of weight to my tips in the morning before I head out riding. I'll post a more thorough evaluation tomorrow, including some piston wash, and plug readings. It will be running tomorrow without a pc5. I will plug the ethanol chip in (currently running non-eth chip) if it is running too lean and go with a pc5 if needed from there. I'll probably ceramic coat it next week as well.

EDIT: Final tuning resulted in 2 grams of tip weight added

Thanks Chad for getting some pics up and it looks saweet!!! Let us know how you like it, I know I might be in the market for one.... I want to ride that thing and compare it to mine when I get home from the slope!

The sled ran really well guys. I added a gram of tip weight and it looks like I'll need to add another, still hit the rev limiter a couple times today. Pipe seemed to make good power all the way through the powerband. Plugs and wash also look good. I'll post pics of the plugs in a few minutes.

This pipe put the power level of the sled where I would like to see it from the factory. I'm running the SLP intake, Power addiction 12.5:1 head, and this pipe and the sled is really ripping. Very happy.

At this point I don't think the fuel controller is needed. I am going to run one anyway once they are readily available through WPS. The black on the plugs is from pulling it into the shop from the trailer, little cold when I ran it in.

I've dropped about 25 pounds on the sled between A-arms, pipe setup, and foam deletes. I am very happy with how the sled runs, I think all it needs now is a 155 Camo Extreme. This competition track sucks.

What elevation are you running with this setup? and what fuel are you burning?

Sea level to 4k, 93 octane right now but I am going to taper it down to 90 octane non-ethanol (our 90 octane non ethanol is close to the 92-93 in the states)

Put 40 or so hard miles on it today, same plug readings.

Are you running it up high like Eureka or down low like Big Lake? Curious how it works at higher elevations.

Does the spark plug burn line end at the start of the top outside bend radius line on the ground electrode? If so it's a very safe air/fuel ratio

Or burn down all around the ground electrode bend radius, near base of spark plug??? If so it's a very lean air/fuel ratio.

This week or next I plan to install a set of SLP MTX 71 gram weights & SLP blue pink primary spring on a stock 800 Rush that only turns 8000 rpm max.
What do you recomend in flat-land Wis at 1500 feet with stock pipe & later a Dyno Port pipe???

Later this year or next year I plan to install a Dyno Port pipe, will it lean out my still rich running non ethanol resistor set-up in my 800 Rush???
My 800 Rush runs too rich, cuts out at 7500 rpm max, then drops to 6500 rpm, with the 10% ethanol resistor installed???

This year or next year I plan to install a Dyno Port pipe, will it fit with the stock Polaris muffler?
Thanks for taking the time posting all of your info on clutching & Dyno Port pipe.
Ride Safe, try to get a little sleep, I see your early AM posts; Rich.

Recieved my pipe yesterday from dynoport, coated, quality looking piece for sure, yes it fits perfect with stock muffler. Testing today ...heads next :face-icon-small-coo

Where are you finding 90 octane without ethanol. Cant find decent fuel in the valley, unless I cut if with 114.

Rode cooke with new pipe, 9000 feet+, mtx 66grams,20/42 gear,black/purple, 8250...pipe works very, very well :face-icon-small-hap
