just so you can enjoy the ease of use of our autotune/quick tune feature on the vipec tuning software

p.s.: dyno session at jaws performance in ontario ....not at our facilities .we wanted a neutral environement so you guys can see it has not been tricked out manipulated data. those videos are just of the quick tune fonction up to 7000 rpm and we even let craig(jaws owner) do the tuning even if he is not an e.f.i. guru!!!

enjoy!

even without HP numbers we know it well be snappyer and better on the fule.
realy its overall improvement i think, looking forward to overall specs though.

Isnt that actully just the right question? This product is made to make hp, and we should get atleast a indication on what hp we can make?

the standalone ecu has been done to take full control of the sled and overide every functions. with the tuning software you are in control of 100% of your sensors and therefore can manipulate your hp output, So depending of your setup, different number will show up. factories spend a lot of time achieving max "safe" horsepower(that is with oem software wich is very basic), so a few horsepower are left on the table (stock) for safety and warranty reasons. having a full plug and play open software ecu is a very good thing!! reliable hp with factory running feeling even with heavy mods is the main goal of that ecu and that is why we developped that ecu....but of course with right tunning, HP will come standard too!!

Full control is worthless without any appreciable gains. If you're not going to talk about horsepower, then why did you post a topic about a sled on a dyno?

OK ok..

Here's the post every one is wanting.. But not seeing..

I put the ECU on.. I got 240HP 195 FT LBS of TORQUE!!

lol.. If your looking for HP.. Numbers your not thinking right.. Each sled makes different power.. It is only up to the programmer to build a map that runs well and makes power..

So... ya i got a map.. i build

lol Makes I got 240HP 195 FT LBS of TORQUE!!

This is Very neat.. Tech.. that is coming to sleds..

Just wait.. It is coming to a hill near you!!

^Don't be an A$$, he is just showing the progress they are making, chill out man!! I think most people on here enjoy reading about the progress this advancement in EFI control for a snowmobile is coming along.

I'm sorry to have offended you, I guess it's ridiculous for potential buyers to ask stupid questions like "how much will this cost" or "what kind of horsepower gains should I expect".

I do enjoy new development and this looks like quite an an impressive piece of equipment, but the way that it has been presented leaves a lot to be desired. These common questions have been routinely answered with less than polite responses, the result of that is that is my general feeling towards this particular product is now put up or shut up.

I would not want to read any information that was not 100% correct. Because if he puts up an estimated price or horsepower rating, and it changes the least little bit due to unforeseen circumstances, people like you on here will EAT HIM ALIVE! IMO, give us the information when you are 100% sure of what you are releasing.

PRECISION E.F.I, keep the info coming!

when I asked the question on hp it only made sense since this was a video of dyno runs.

but that said releasing a new product takes tons of time and money and if I was in his position and felt that stating hp now could have a impact on my efforts then I would do the same.

I for one am very excited to see all the info and more than likey will be running his turbo on my 2012 pro.
