DVD and format question

does anyone of you know if you can view PAL DVD's on your tv systems?
i'm (still) making/building my DVD but i can't get the quality up to par when i build a NTSC DVD in Encore...

hmmmm. In adobe premiere i chose the setting of 1080i HDV and etc. for NTSC. Maybe check quality settings? look on film forums about that subject that is where I usually have to go.

good luck

the problem might be that i have chosen PAL for my Premiere project cause we use PAL but it won't export nicely to NTSC...
i guess i have to lurk the premiere forums to night...

yep...you're tracksheet numbers need to match your compression numbers.

most of the dvd software likes 30fps (ntsc). if your tracksheet was done in PAL and encore won't let you change frame rates...you'll need to copy your entire film and copy it into a ntsc 30frame tracksheet.

:(
i have already tried to copy the entire sequence manually and pasted that into a new tracksheet cause i used HD settings at first and that didn't work out the way i wanted it cause all the transitions magically dissapeared and i had to manually insert all of them one more time and i would really like to not do that again.....

anyone know a easier way to copy into a new tracksheet thingie?
