I toasted a set of stock secondary rollers from a 2010 M8 HCR running a compression setup. What is the best option for roller longevity? This set made it about 800-900 miles on boost.
Rock rollers. But check your movable sheave bushing. When it wears out it will toast rollers. Last season I went through all 6 plastic ones and then actually broke 3 rock rollers. This fall I found my bushing to be completely shot and have since replaced the clutch and haven't had any issues in the few hundred miles I've put on.
