drying out your trailer

I have a 3 place enclosed and wonder if i need to dry it out after each ride, it sits outside, in the past i have placed a 1500 watt heater in it. this takes way to long. looking for a 4place enclosed and when i get that one i will put a 40,000 btu unit to dry it out, until then am i just rotting away my decking?? any ideas are greatly appreciated.

All you can really do is run a heater in there after each ride. I don't know what kind of heater it is but we run procom propane heaters and it works well. You can also put a good sealer on your wood floor to help repel the water. And also try to find a mirage with the polybead floor. I love mine and when you get to wanting one just pm me.

My 4 place is 11 years old and the floors are stilll in great shape. I have never had a heater in it, but I am now in the process of putting in a furnace.

After every ride I crank my furnace up its a 35000 BTU atwood, crack the vents on the roof and have a small squirrel cage type fan running on floor, 3-4 sleds and floor are dry within 3-4 hrs..
This season i spray foamed insulation under the floor underneath the trailer which has helped alot and bought that fan,, last year it took all nite before floor and sleds were dry.. Allso drilled a few holes where water would sit on floor...Trailers a 28 ft featherlite with a foot added to wall height..

I cheat !! After we get back from the mountain I wash the trailer and back it into the shop. Turn the heat up in the shop to 70 and in less than 24 hrs its dry >>>>.
