Drug testing for Welfare

That information should be manditory for additional benefits. As well as being a legal right for the system to offset costs through garnishing of the fathers wage. If you are adult enough to make em, you should be adult enough to care for them.

It is now mandatory. Happened under Clinton, believe it or not. They also implemented a 6 kids, and no more welfare clause, plus free "fixing" service.

At least I think these rules still apply, so much is changing so fast; right now.

I was on prescribed self medication during the Clinton years to really pay too much attention :beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;. Hate to say it but i think that we need to look at the Chinese for population control, in these cases.

I have maybe a better idea. Why shouldn't the Dorks in congress that write the welfare and drug laws have to pee in the cup too ? That could make a bigger difference than you might imagine. You know, that might be almost as good as term limits. Years ago back in New York State , the governor made an edict that to draw welfare they had to sign up at the employment office to pick up their checks. This cut the welfare rolls about 30 percent.

I don't have a problem with it, I'm subjected to testing in order to have the privledge to earn the money I give to them for free.

welfare is ment be a temporary aid, if their hooked on drugs then there is no next job...so end the aid, simple as that.

I don't believe in starving peeps either, so send em to a soup kitchen and give em a cot in a corner.

Drug testing....Grrrrrr

When I was still flying they used to pull random drug testing on us and if we did not submit to it we were terminated. That makes sense I guess. I used to end one of my trips by flying from Paris to Newark and then I would catch a flight home to Denver for my days off. If I wasn't on time in my arrival and didn't get to the gate like right away for my Denver flight I would end up having to pay over a hundred bucks for a hotel room at the airport and catch a flight the next morning. Pain in the a s s.................

The drug testers were always waiting just outside the doors of customs and immigration and they would spot the crew members in uniform and grab them up for what they called a random drug test. This would ensure I missed my flight to Denver so I used to take my uniform off prior to starting the descent into the New York area and put on a sport coat etc. so that I looked just like any other passenger. Never did get tested that way, they never saw me.

Oh, by the way, I DON'T DO DRUGS...............
