Drop bracket question??

Just wonder if I drop the back suspension bolts down 4 in how much do I drop the front to keep the transfer?? I am putting a rear skid out of a 04 rev under my 00 Zx & want to get it set up right. Thanks in advance..

From what I have been told and that I have read you want to drop the front about 1/2 as much as the back to keep the same line. 4" is a lot of drop so that would be 2" in the front. I don't know if there is enough room to drop it 2 inches without a bracket for the front. I have used a straight line marked with a pencil on the tunnel from the front bolt to the back drop bolt and then another line parallel to that to determine the front drop.
On a side note though if you don't drop the front 2" but go less and you can handle the harder steering you will have less approach angle for the track and it should do better in the powder. The steering won't be an issue in the powder but on stiffer snow and going downhills it is noticeable.

Go back through some threads and find some of my previous posts and pic's of my setup. 02 ZX chassis, 5 1/4" drop, front arm dropped within an inch of bottom of tunnel, running 156x16x2.5 Camo Extreme, 3.0 pitch extros, 19/45 gears w/ stock chain, etc. Makes the ZX chassis a tractor in the deep, still running this and a lot of other mods today.
