Here is what I am looking into doing on the wifes sled Drop and roll the chaincase 3.0 pitch drivers and deeper lug track lets say same lug height as a 10 xp looking for input, kits for the roll and tracks what are your thoughts if anyone has done this. looking for all types of input on these changes
Thanks in advance

If you change to a 3.0 pitch driver use a 7 tooth . That will allow a 2.5 paddle
I used the avid drivers they work great. People have been having wear problems with the wahl brothers I would not use them . You will need to watch for Rivet problems at drive axle area easy to fix by grinding.Drop and roll kits are alot of work but not needed if you stay at max of 2.5 paddle.
My choice of track Camo extreme . This is also a great time to put big wheels
kit.. I did this swap last year with no problems it not very hard to do

Ive done 2 drop and roll and it is alot of work. I think I would try running the 7 tooth drivers next time and see how that works.

is it worth it

Thanks for the info do you fellas think it was worth the extra time or would it be better to go with new drivers and track vs. the d&r approach

I just did the Avid 3.0 pitch 7 tooths and 2.5 Camo Extreme to a '07. I did a lot of research and was willing to do the work of the D&R.........seems the consensus was to use the 7 tooth Avids and be done.

My friend has a extended & rolled chain case on his rev. (151) And I just did a 162 power claw on mine. Stock engine for stock engine I can kill the rolled case by alot. I did a rolled case on my ZX and it was a huge gain.

Thanks

So I guess the the just of it is that the gain is not worth the pain thanks for the help fellas will let you know how things work out most likely next year gotta have something to do in the off season

crazy!!! Any reading I have done on the d and r has been really positive. I am going to do one on my sled next year because I am going a 3" track. I guess come November I will be able to tell you how it works, as it will be my summer project.

I heard that a drop and roll helped out alot too. I also knew it was a pretty labor intensive as well I was not sure if it was worth the extra work. I am not going to run a 3" track just a 2.5 or so but I want the 3 pitch. I am looking to do it this summer too.
