Driving from Bozeman, MT to Island Park

The only time I can ever remember the Ashton hill closed was a couple years ago.
It was closed for about 3 hours because a pickup hit a plow. Even then they had traffic going again in one lane while they were still dragging the wrecks off the roadway. That was fun trying to keep from stopping and spinning out with a 30 foot enclosed and 4 sleds going uphill to creep around the mess.

Found out I could go from hi to 4 low on the move without grinding too much if ya have to.

We usually take the ennis route. I hate the tight park route meeting semi after semi with a 4 place trailer. If I had no trailer the park way would be best. Depending on time of the year its always fun to see the thousands of elk along the ennis way.
