Driveshaft question?

13 Assault/RMK Drive Axle Swap

Has anyone looked in to putting an 13 Assault or 12 RMK axle on a 13 RMK? I don't know if a quick drive gear is the same as the chain case gear but it looks close. If it works it would be an easy fix. They made that splined axle from 06 to present i think. Just a thought.

Exchange my '12 and '13 pro driveshaft

My questions is, until future driveshafts are available can I put my '13 pro driveshaft in my wifes '12 pro and take hers? Might be what keeps me on the snow longer instead of waiting on backorders.
It's a confidence issue knowing I can play a little farther from the road.

Nope... The 2013 PRO RMK driveshaft does NOT have a provision for oil seal on the chaincase of her 2012.

Is the 600 going to be subject to potential drive shaft issues for the 2013s? Do they share the same drive shaft components?

At this point LuckyDawgAK.... it would only be speculation.

I've only heard of 800's with the problem... Seems to be a bad batch of the shafts... which sleds are affected...??? But I can tell you Polaris is probably burning the midnight oil trying to find out which sleds have questionable shafts in them.

The 2013 600 PRO has the same driveshaft as the 2013 800 PRO

Mine is that way too (flush like they wiped access off) hope mine is good too...Havent rode yet but im not impressed with the design
