Drivers spinning on track?

I have a 2011 polaris assault Rmk with the comp track and sometimes when the snow is really set up and I try to rip on it the drivers will spin on the track and sometimes it's really bad but when I get into softer snow it works great (because it don't hook up) but I've got really good tension on the track and I would hate to put more tension on and lose the hp so does anyone know what the recommendation is by polaris for track tension with the comp track? Thanks

tighten it up a little at a time until it stops ratchiting. your actually loosing hp running it loose. these track and drivers setup have to be run tight in order for them to work properly

10 pounds on the track 16" from the rear axel, you want no more than 1/2" deflection....its crazy tight compared to older sleds but that's what they want, and the paddles dig better as well

You have to be careful running your track loose on the Pro. It will roll easy in the shop but scrub on the top of the tunnel under power.
Many think their clutching is off, but the fact that the track is rubbing creates upshift and backshift difficulties for the secondary. Your secondary cannot compensate fast enough for the intermittent scrubbing of the top of the tunnel. Tighten it up and see what happens.

thanks! ill tighten it up and try the 10 pound weight trick and see what happens it doesn't ratchet that often but it would be nice if it didn't at all! Next year im goin with anti-ratchet drivers and the 2.6 powerclaw shouldn't have a problem then!
