Driven Shaft Mistake

Hey guys I always get good answers here, so I have to ask another.
I have a 2003 MC 800 1m. I was in the process of changing the driven bearing on the secondary as it was a little rough. Someone had rounded out the head of the lock screw in the past so I had to use my reverse drill bits. I mistakingly drilled into the shaft 0.050" should I look at changing the shaft or is that still pretty minor?

So this is the locking collar on the jack shaft behind the secondary? I guess it doesn't matter where it is. IMO I would run it.

My concern is that the hole I drilled would weaken the shaft. I know these are already known for being a little on the weak side. I do know that the shaft was changed once already approx 3 years ago (prev owner) as it broke on the chaincase side while climbing.

EDIT: I'm mistaken...it was the driveshaft that broke, not the driven.

I wouldn't worry about it. All the torque is on the chaincase side. The only ones I have seen go on the other end was when the bearing goes out and then they were run until it wore the end off and the shaft falls out. Not pretty.
