Just got the 2010 updates installed last week. FINALLY. Ran better than it ever has after about 50 miles were put on it. Ran blue the first 50 miles. Then Gold plus 100 miles since. New fuel filter, new exhaust valve springs, New SLP pipe/can.

Clutching is also MUCH better. Doesn't bog down rpms as bad in the deep stuff on J-hooks or steep climbs like the 09 motor. In the 09 motor I was using the stock helix with 10-58 weights. Now using 60/40.36 helix with 10-62 weights (and a new belt). Riding at 9-11K ft. Was very impressed that it's actually pulling 10-62's now since I've never ran that heavy of a weight where I ride before on either sled. 7900-8000rpms on climbs in the deep and 8200 rpms on the flats. In the 09 motor it would bog to 7500-7700 rpms in the deep steeps and run 8100-8200 on flats.

Only thing I noticed while riding. Once I got up to elevation the sled would only idle at 1000 rpms. Did not like that. Thinking this is why...

Went to unload yesterday. Started up great the second pull. I turned it off after unloading and went to start it again. Nothing. No spark. Plugs are soaking wet. So, did my voltage regulator just crap out or what?

The VR may have failed but I dont think that is the problem. Try installing a NEW set of sparkplugs and hold the throttle wide open as you pull start it. Seems the 2010 flash sometimes will flood the engine.

i too noticed that it will foul plugs if you start it and shut it off too quickly. seems to only happen when the sled is cold. once it is warmed up it seems to be good to go. i'd just try swapping plugs.

dragon idle

Mine with the new update had the idle getting worse and worse as this season progressed. It got to the point it would only idle around 900- 1000rpm & not go into reverse the idel was so low. I had the TPS adjusted last week by Colorado powersports. It ran great all day Saturday and idled around 1500-1600. I had the same thing (tps) adjusted a coulpe times in the last coule of years for the same idle problem. It always seems to run best right after the tps is adjusted. Somehow the tps must get knocked out of whack. I also tried a new belt, what a difference that made. With 10-58's & stock helix it runs around 79-8000 on hills & 8200 on flats. I also have team 60-40/38-36 ordered.

try getting your rpm up to about 8300 or a little more on climbs, you will be blown away by the difference. i know it is higher than recommended levels but it is far better.

I had a simuliar thing happen with about 150 miles on the new update. It didn't flood but was close to it, put in the iridium plugs and with about 200 more miles the thing starts with about half a pull when warm and this hasn't happened agian. I ride at about the same altitude as you, i think this flash has some quirks in it.
