Dragon has a spark issue

I have a 2007 Polaris dragon 700. I got it non-running. Replaced the stator and got spark. Now it’s doing a weird thing where sometimes it will get spark and run off starting fluid for a couple seconds then die and when you go to pull it again, no spark. We hooked a drill with a socket on the primary and we could get real good blue spark and it would power the headlight while spinning and the lights on the cluster would power. We did this a couple times and it’s not getting fuel it seems. Confirmed fuel pump is working and all the lines down to the injectors are clear and free. So a couple questions from that info… what would cause the spark sometimes and not others, why will the headlight and what not power also only sometimes, how do you get the injectors unplugged, and how do you set tps position without a tool. We did take the throttle bodies off to cleaned them as they were frozen when I got it. Brand new plugs as well. Sorry for the long post, just ready to pull my hair out at this point especially since the stator was not cheap

This screams voltage regulator to me. Side note, it was a sad day today, I gave me 08 dragon away to a new home :(

if the voltage reg crapped it may have cooked the ecu also. try powering the fuel pump with a battery and see if it will fire up. when i was at the dealer i was replacing regs and ecu's twice a week. 2007,8,9,10's.

Last night I got
She was my first....... And the first is always the hardest to let go.
this sled has me ready to pull my hair out honestly. With low miles (2832) I don’t think it should have the issues it’s having

Did you OHM out the stator before replacing it? To me, all of the symptoms you have been chasing seem like it has been the voltage regulator the whole time. My dragon, after sitting for the last three years, fired right up with a little starting fluid coercion. Just with any year, there were some lemons. The 700's seemed to be pretty good though. On to your other questions, I am not sure you can set the TPS unless you have a good/clean 5v power supply and know which wires to check. The home made testers took a 9v and reduced it to 5v and gave us the wires. I might still have mine.....

I did ohm out the stator and there were variations as to what’s in the service manual. Nothing super off, on the brown/white to ground I can’t get a reading and meter shows O.L other than that both stators read the same. I’m thinking voltage regulator as well but wouldn’t there still be some sign of life with a bad regulator? This is my second efi sled and my first one, 03 firecat 700 only had 1200 miles and ran like a top, have had numerous makes and models and I’ve noticed when vr’s go out it pops your headlights and what not but the sled will still run for the most part. This is also my newest sled as I’ve tried to stick to the older models simply because of ease of maintenance and repair.

Not really any other sign of life when the VR goes or at least on my 08 dragon there wasn't. Mine went on the mountain and it gave me a couple seconds of dash flicker and the same intermittent spark you experienced for a few pulls and then it was done. Nothing popped and I managed to not lose the ECU.
