dragon a arms on a 2012 pro

Depends on what year Dragon, but either way the Dragon is a wider stance than the Pro. Thanks.

True, but.. The Pro chassis 2011-12 use all the same fasteners in metric all 10mm. The 2013 "Pro" same as the 11-12 with the exception of the lower only shock bolt which is an 8mm. The Assault is all the same as the 11-12 pro on all of them, meaning they did not use the 8mm lower shock bolt. Not exactly sure on the stock arms, but ours did have to make a change on the Pro chassis starting again in 2011 on the upper arm due to shock spring clearance. Also keep in mind if your swapping uppers its not just the mounting bolt on the upper arm to spindle bolt you would have to change to make work from one to another, because the rod end (heim) also changed from 1/2'' to 12X1.5mm on the pro. Ok, wow that im thoughly confused....Clear as mud! Thanks.

The Dragon-RMK lower from 2009+ is identical to the non-2013 PRO except for the plastic bulkhead-bushings and balljoint.

The bulkhead-bushings swap out as does the balljoint... the balljoint is the same except for the hair-larger 10mm bolt to the spindle on the PRO (dragon has 3/8" SAE). This can be reamed out for the hair-larger 10 mm bolt.

PRO Lower ball joints fit into Dragon arms and vice versa.

The upper arm is the same except for the bushings (swap) & 12mm hole for the stud on the rod end (aka upper-balljoint). 12mm is .47" so it would fit in the .50" hole... if both nuts are tight on inside and outside of the arm of the upper balljoint stud... you should be fine and not see any movement.

The stance is the same. The arms are made in the same jigs with the same end forgings.

2006-2008 RMK Arms will fit as well, but the swaybar mount is different... you would have no issues if you are not running the the swaybar though.

MH, I gotta ask: do you have all this stuff written down somewhere, or can you just recite measurements and part numbers from memory? You're like Wikipedia for Polaris.......

I did this on a friends 2012 PRO that "found" a tree last year... all we had were dragon Arms on hand.

I often wonder where MH comes up with this info sometimes .
Maybe he is a poo engineer incognito or some blood relative to one. He sure comes up with some great Chit .

I learn most of what I know from other readers... and combine or regurgitate (like the heads up on tensioners from Loudhandle)
