Pinecone Fable!
No names mentioned here but I saw an 800D after a high speed connection with the lower part of a pine cone maker-a stump just under the snow. The sled flew 25-30' airborne, came down on it's tail and did an endo or two.
Apparently these sleds are well built because damage was minimal. I've seen $1000 damage from less. Rear bumper bent, tunnel bent where the stump hit-but straightened, aluminum panels near your knees tweaked a little, windshield came off but no damage. Possibly an A arm bent but if it was it's not bent much. Hood & seat look like new. Sled has been fixed now so no hidden damage like bulkhead or mtr mnts & few parts used. (Forgot to ask about the A arm).
Rider OK, sled OK-so good ending! Hope all this new snow settles a little more!
