:light: Pinecone Fable!
No names mentioned here but I saw an 800D after a high speed connection with the lower part of a pine cone maker-a stump just under the snow. The sled flew 25-30' airborne, came down on it's tail and did an endo or two.
Apparently these sleds are well built because damage was minimal. I've seen $1000 damage from less. Rear bumper bent, tunnel bent where the stump hit-but straightened, aluminum panels near your knees tweaked a little, windshield came off but no damage. Possibly an A arm bent but if it was it's not bent much. Hood & seat look like new. Sled has been fixed now so no hidden damage like bulkhead or mtr mnts & few parts used. (Forgot to ask about the A arm).
Rider OK, sled OK-so good ending!:D Hope all this new snow settles a little more!

Hit a big rock dead on at the worst angle side-hilling on my 07 dragon on friday. Wasn't going 60 but still went over the front side. Didn't even bend my a-arm, even though it should have. I was very surprised. Took me a while to be convinced it was all ok. Need a new ski but everything else is fine. Impressive

useless with out pics!!

Ya don't carry a camera around in my pocket though. Except for the bent bumper & a little damage to the tunnel it looked just like every other Dragon. Figured there would be hidden damage & a big bill but I was wrong.

bet it looked something like this

thats kinda funny cause i pasted a pine cone maker in a 25mph side hill dead nuts with the ski on my xp and didn't hurt anything. pushed the ski tip clear up by the muffler. bounced back like champ. thought for sure i just spent an a$$ load of money. boy was i supprised.

Oh there's no question the dragon is a more durable machine. I strongly belive doo should have left about 10 pounds in the xp, But they have raised the bar and we will all benefit.
