Drag racing returning to Bend, Oregon

Watch Moon Country snow busters social media for an announcement. Tentative date of mid January, Wanoga snopark, Bend, Oregon, already plenty of snow.

There will be at least one cash payout class. Talks of more.

any updates?

any idea on classes? Length of the track? lights? single, double elimination? Does Matt Mahoney have anything to do with these races anymore at Wanoga?

Matt does not but it’s the same club, moon country. The races are this Saturday. There was a huge delay from the USFS getting the permit back to the club in a timely fashion. It’s more grass roots than before but has room to grow if there’s interest.
