another epic two day Krazy Canadian Adventure... Day one up Goose creek forest road... Original EXTREME TEAM riders.. Big Daddy Walker and Super Dave knight... came and wow,, they still got it!!!!!! Ryan , Brad, Frank, Hoodicoff, Juggy, Jr Walker's Maverick and Scoutand also Tandy all came and half a dozen first ascents completed.. plus Brad climbed out of Darcy's chute up the airport for the first time.. Juggy on purpose went up it and came off the top cornice, then hoodicoff followed, BUT not on purpose..

Day two up Ladybird forest road... and 6 more first ascents.. plus we found another 9 never before climbed chutes up the BIRD... Allan, hoodicoff, and Ed Hadikin.. all slayed first ascents... O ya,, I got 3 in this weekend too...

pics to come this evening..

most of the original EXTREME TEAM still rides.. Bob is still riding hard, Norm had another child.. a son, and is busy raising him on his own, so he's had two seasons off... the big jumpers Eric and Steve still ride up Priest Lake...

snow pack resembles april not june , eh!!!!

Love that you are still finding new stuff in your backyard! Some of those new chutes look awesome, with incredible consequences... The cornice to the left of the upper the brass balls chute is insanely larger. Love to watch it come down! Keep us posted on when you slay these chutes!

I'm gonna tackle the Brass balls chute either this weekend or next... loosing snow at the bottom of the chute... might have to start 1/4 up the chute at the bench... below the first tight chute. I think the right along the nasty cliff will be easy. the left then out looks tight and steep though...

Yes. Apparently, the fight against communism is alive and well in Canada. Good show.

Looks like sunday is the sunny day of the weekend, anyone else coming???? 9 am cheveron sunday june 12.... June 15 i'm heading up the BIRD to remember Marc Fry... but the Marc Fry memorial ride will be June 18 up Norns rd.Come test drive a Polaris or Arctic Cat Turbo.... MainJet and Boondockers will be up there doing demos... There'll be a bunch of twisted sleds to compare with also..Might even get a turbo yamaha and doo up there too...

top looking down BOOLY Ridge chute... cornice broke off leaving an amazing line, shovelled most of it, need a final touch up to complete one of the most epic climbs of my life..

looking up the last 150 ft of the Booly chute

the right hander is too KRAZY, but straight up sould be doable

june042.jpg

right hander has the tight spot to deal with...

Hopefully the sun shines and I can get these last two chutes done and call it a season... but if anyone else wants a crack at em first . I'll film ya,,,lol

still 10 ft at the cabin, up the BIRD.... three days of riding Friday to Sunday up the BIRD ,, ALL welcomed... come take a turbo cat or polaris for a demo ride..... MEETING Sat , and Sun mornings at the cheveron at 9 am...maybe we'll get some Yamahas and Skidoos up too, or have they ALL been put away for the summer????? No dirt to ride. we unload at the snow line..., and the snow bridges are still intact...as of sunday and since then we've had freezing temps with some fresh snow.... road yesterday, June 15 in fresh snow and very cold temps... still almost 2 ft at my cabin, 5000' elevation. 5 ft on Mackie and Neptune...

Brass Balls chute is only 1400' elevation change.. thought it was longer, but google earth corrected me...
