Any one heard of water pumps going out of 780 rotax triples?

Historical problems or look fors?

Mine went out this weekend. I am assuming water pump bearing issues,broken water pump gear teeth, combined with some crankshaft teeth that are bunged up.

If the small oil reservior in the water pump housing went dry then the bearings will be toast. The gear between the pump and crank is plastic for this reason. Through some fresh bearings and seals on the pump shaft and a new plastic gear and fill it up wil oil and you should be good.
