I am hearing the 1st week of the new year has it in store for La Nina to kick into gear. Some are calling for her to come in angry and drop some good moisture onto the ground in the frozen form. Lets hope these models are correct!

I've heard similar. Something about the "artic oscillation phenomenom" has been f***ing us over lately, and it should reside soon. When its influence subsides, we get snow. I hope.

This weather is a pain to watch! I plowed 14" out of my parents driveway in boulder today and got to summit later and there is still grass in our yard at 9600 feet!
