I was sooo sick of getting 10 new credit card offers a week, so I just opened them and write "stop sending me this sh1t" on the offer and put all of the crap (even their envelope that contained the offer) into their envelope and send it back to them in the postage paid envelope. I've called the 800 # that is supposed to stop the flow but that didn't help. I have noticed fewer and fewer tho since I've been doing this.

Thay have to pay to get that maill back too ya know? It is a big thing now to be doing this. Stop the junk mail! Mail it all back to them. You don't even need to write anything on it.

I do something similar. I write across the front of the attached info in my worst lefthanded writting "I AM JOE" and send it back in their postage paid envelope. I have no freaking idea if it helps, mostly likely it doesn't but I get a chuckle everytime I drop it in the mail box.

I did that for a couple years, it does feel good, I was shredding the app and mailing it back, now I just send it back with other promotional stuuf I collect

I'll pack those prepaid envelopes full. The post office won't send it if it's more than 1/4" thick though.

I have three waiting to go out, one has the spaghetti wrapper from dinner last night, one has some popped bubble wrap in it, and the third has most of the spam they sent with it. If I get a few from different companies, i'll switch 'em around so visa gets the mastercard app, and vice versa.
