So we are cruising in the boat this weekend about 35 MPH and we pass a big stick floating in the water which the dog spots. Without hesitation he jumps out of the boat at 35 MPH to fetch the stick. I swing back and pick him up by his colar. He is completely unphazed.
Later that day on the dock another big stick about 6 feet long is floating by so he jumps in to fetch the stick. While swimming back to shore the end of the stick gets snagged on the boat-lift. He will not let go of the stick and starts to struggle terribly. Kids start yelling and screaming and crying. As he becomes more and more exhausted he continues to ignore my calls and refuses to let go of the stick. I have to jump in the water to dislodge the stick from the boat-lift. He swims to shore triumphantly with stick in month.
Unbelievable.
